Carrie Posey
Managing Director
Carrie Posey is a theatre artist and educator. She has spent more than twenty years working at the intersection of early childhood education and theatre, creating opportunities for young artists to explore creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Carrie’s journey in theatre began while attending High School in Germany, where early exposure to the arts sparked a lasting passion for storytelling and the collaborative process. She went on to study Theatre at Whitman College, where she further developed her skills and deepened her commitment to the performing arts.
After completing her studies, Carrie built a career that bridges education and production. In addition to her extensive work in early childhood education, she has contributed to the Seattle theatre community as a production manager with Theatre Schmeater and Northwest Asian American Theatre. She has also directed productions with Youth Theatre Northwest and Theatre Schmeater, and worked as a stage manager for Book-It Repertory Theatre and other local companies. In these roles, she has supported a wide range of productions, collaborating with artists and creative teams to bring stories to life on stage.
Carrie’s work is grounded in the belief that theatre is a powerful tool for growth, connection, and confidence-building in young people.
